Is it just me, or is it very rare to find actual business Coaches on social media?
I mean the type that actually help you with your business and not just social media and growing a following.
I’m not bashing on anybodies parade but as a business coach to clients who own hairdressers, online businesses and coffee shops, to name a few, I’m getting rather bored of not being able to find anyone who is an authentic business coach.
When did it become just about growing a following and not about strategy? when did it become all about curated IG feeds and not about giving actual value to your clients and their business?
I am rather perplexed guys and girls.
I find it interesting that we now have a group of highly ambitious individuals who promise you growth and 10Xing your revenues etc. How can they do this if they have never started or run a business? how can they do this with little to no experience.
It’s like someone sold one big sales script that every one now uses and I tell you something, these coaches are ruthless. It doesn’t matter if you’ve told them you run multiple companies, you are a coach, you have a coach aleady, you don’t want their services etc. They still hound you with this ‘same same’ approach and try to convince you that your business won’t grow without their unique magical formula or framework. Did I go to sleep for a year and wake up in some crazy twilight zone? in which business coaches run the world?
Maybe their ‘success’ comes from hounding their potential clients into submission.
For years I have wanted to get into writing and this topic has finally helped push me into writing. I am no good at this as you can tell, but will promise to get better and write loads of stuff about business, lifestyle + coffee, you may even get a few giggles along the way.
