Today I want to talk about having confidence in business as it is such a huge element of business owners taking the decision to leap in to business in the first place and then to thrive.
Nowadays, it feels like everyone and their grandma is making serious money. We are seeing posts captioned with “My first £20K month etc” we are seeing new businesses launch and we are seeing businesses everywhere expand.
It seems like everyone but you is making a shed load of money and seeing their business grow exponentially. That isn’t the case. I promise you.
I want to highlight a few things that may help you gain confidence in your ability and your business journey.
- You are everything. You have what it takes. You’ve got this.
- Your focus needs to be solely on your business and you. Don’t worry about what everyone else is doing. If you need to mute certain pages or avoid reading some posts then do it. But throw away the thought that anybody is better then you. Comparison is really the thief of joy.
- Also a lot of times we are comparing our chapter 5 with someone else’s chapter 14.
- People only show you what they want you to see on social media. You don’t necessarily get to see the sweat and tears that goes into everyone’s business….you are not alone! everyone has a business struggle or 2.
- No overnight success was an overnight success.
- Loads of people are “faking it till they make it” lool no shade. Don’t ever do this. Focus on the making it part.
- If you have specific struggles with your confidence or business get help/support. Don’t do it all on your own. Get a coach or get a Mentor. Join a community of likeminded individuals.
- Outsource: Make a list of all the things that fall into your zone of genius and all of the things you can do and want to do. Then make a separate list with the tasks you don’t enjoy and that you aren’t good at. Outsource these tasks where possible. If you are doing more of what you are good at and enjoy, your confidence will naturally grow and show outwardly.
- Systemise and Strategise! This is key to your business growth and gives you the freedom to not be tied to your business 24/7. Let your money work for you whilst you sleep by automating as much as possible.
It’s hard times right now and a lot of us have to pivot the way we do business, and we are surrounded by such many uncertainties I know it can be confusing and feel like you aren’t getting anywhere. However, putting in the hard work and believing in your sauce will ultimately get you to your business & life goals. Don’t give up and stay awesome
